Personal data of the students are kept confidential in accordance with legal obligations.
Psychosocial counseling: Counseling on issues such as adaptation problems to university life, success anxiety, social relations, and independence skills are provided to individuals with special needs.
Accessibility services: Efforts are carried out to ensure that all structures and services, including the university campus, buildings on the campus, open spaces, information systems, websites and social media accounts, are accessible to individuals with special needs; accessibility of the course notes and other source books are ensured through converting them into the desired format (word, pdf, audio file, embossing, etc.) by the Visually Impaired Unit within the Department of Library and Documentation in line with the requests of students who have difficulty in reading.
Scholarship services and part-time work: Students with special needs are informed about scholarship opportunities provided by the university, such as food scholarships, and scholarships provided by other organizations. In addition, a certain portion of the total number of the students to be employed at the university during the year is used for disabled students in order for students to earn income and get used to business life.
Awareness activities: Programs and projects are developed and events such as seminars and conferences are organized in order to raise awareness on special needs and contribute to the solution of problems.
Projects: Research and social responsibility projects on special needs are carried out within the scope of the university's goal of contributing to society.
Peer support: Students with special needs who have difficulty taking notes or accessing course materials due to their special needs are provided peer support by part-time or volunteer students.
Academic adaptations: In order for the students with special needs to be able to study within the framework of equal opportunity and not to have their success negatively affected, adaptations can be made before, during and after classes, exams and activities such as research in line with the interviews with them.

If needed during the lesson, students may be allowed to leave the class for a period of time due to biological and psychological needs they may encounter.
Appropriate accommodations are made in the content and format of homework and in-class work.
In exams and long-term assignments, students with special needs are given additional time if the student's conditions require.
Texts are supported with visual elements to increase the comprehensibility of the questions in exams if the students' situation requires.
Students with special needs are allowed to take exams with assistant tools and equipment (hearing aids, telescopic glasses, prismatic glasses, magnifying glasses, etc.) and medication/medical supplies if they need them.
The reader/scribe proctor who has a good command of the language of the exam and terminology related to the course are assigned for the students with no or low vision and students who are determined to need reader and/or scribe support due to their special needs to accompany them during the exams.
